Our client in Finland is seeking skilled CNC Machinists specializing in turning and milling operations to join their modern manufacturing facility. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for professionals looking to work in a highly automated production environment equipped with advanced machining technology. Successful candidates will be supported through the residence permit process from Kenya to Finland.
The role is primarily focused on CNC machine operation, production monitoring, and part changeovers. Candidates must have a solid foundation in CNC programming and setup, particularly with Fanuc and Mazatrol control systems. Strong technical competence and machining expertise are essential for success in this position. A minimum of 3 years of CNC machining experience is required.
The factory operates a large Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) approximately 60 meters in length with around 100 machining pallets. The machine park includes CNC machining centers, lathes, grinding machines, and precision measuring equipment, with continuous investment in new technology. Both turning and milling specialists are required.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC turning and/or milling machines in a production environment
Perform machine setups and part changeovers
Monitor production to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity
Read and interpret technical drawings and machining specifications
Make CNC program adjustments and tooling corrections when required
Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools
Troubleshoot machining issues and support process improvements
Maintain safe and efficient workshop operations
Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Machining Technology, or a related technical field.
Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience (turning and/or milling).
Strong understanding of CNC programming and setup.
Experience with Fanuc and/or Mazatrol controls.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Experience with precision measuring instruments and inspection processes.
Strong technical and problem-solving abilities
Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
Experience in automated manufacturing or FMS environments is an advantage
