Job Description

Our client in Finland is seeking multiple experienced CNC Machinists / Hurco VMX50i Operators to join their manufacturing team. The role involves setting up and operating Hurco VMX50i 3-axis CNC vertical machining centers and producing high-precision components to required specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Hurco VMX50i CNC machining center.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

• Program, edit, and adjust CNC programs.

• Select tooling, workholding, speeds, and feeds.

• Perform milling operations including drilling, tapping, facing, profiling, and contouring.

• Conduct precision measurements and quality inspections.

• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and dimensional issues.

• Perform basic machine maintenance and follow safety procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant CNC machining experience.

• Proven experience in CNC milling and machine setup.

• Hurco VMX50i or similar CNC experience is highly preferred.

• Good knowledge of CNC programming and machine controls.

• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.

• Experience with precision measuring equipment.

• Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, CNC Machining, or a related field is preferred.

• Good English communication skills.

• Finnish language skills are not required.
